Rewilding

This video installation imagines a future activity in which everyone must enter the artificial jungle, continuously adapting to the environment and moving their bodies, as a form of alternative therapy.

That is to deal with one of the biggest health problems of modern life: chronic diseases caused by a mismatch between our evolved bodies and contemporary lifestyles, such as obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and tooth decay. Through this work, viewers are invited to reflect on the relationship between the body and its environment, nature and civilization, and the impact of technology and convenience on our health.
