Moistroom

During the pandemic, I was trapped in a small rented room of about ten square meters, with no window to the outside. My favorite plants couldn't survive there because there was no sunlight. In those sunless days, I started ordering all kinds of mushrooms online and watched them grow in my bathroom.

Slowly, I began to understand — I eat mushrooms, and so do mushrooms eat human beings. As decomposers in nature, they have their own way of existing — no stronger than us, but not inferior either. We are all just members of the same natural world.
